“A roundtable on value creation in the life sciences and health sector - A call to action” | ||
| The Dutch life sciences and health sector has strong foundations from which to build on. Creating value from this knowledge, however world-class, remains a challenge. When writing cahier III the High Profile Group was struck by the many opportunities that exist to increase the Netherlands' value-creating capacity in health related life sciences. This cahier describes these opportunities in four broad categories that directly impact the process of creating value from scientific knowledge: human capital, financial resources, regulation & reimbursement and collaboration Many of these opportunities are already taken up by stakeholders in the sector – SMEs and corporations, sector organizations, knowledge institutes, hospitals, public-private partnerships, insurance companies, patient organizations, venture capitalists and others. Other opportunities have only recently been identified or are still to be found. The HPG is committed to take a facilitative role to make this happen and to stimulate the self organizing potential of the sector. Please join us and share your ideas. We would like to exchange knowledge and collaborate. Our joint efforts can lead to health and wealth for people in the Netherlands and abroad! | ||
