MedtechPartners and the Enterprise Europe Network have combined forces to organize an attractive afternoon in medical technology for Dutch and other European companies.

Introduction

This afternoons’ topic is Medical Technology: comprising medical devices, disposables, and technologies for diagnosis, monitoring or treatment. Innovation in medical technology improves cure and health care making it more effective and cheaper by prevention, earlier and more accurate diagnosis, minimally invasive treatment and reductions in hospital stays and rehabilitation times.

Innovation in this field requires formation of value chains and intensive (international) collaboration within the industrial, academic and medical field. Finding the right partner among the 11,000 European medical technology companies can be difficult. The Enterprise Europe Network (E.E.N.) programme helps you by providing a free partnering service in 55 countries. During this International Partnering Session MedtechPartners and E.E.N. provide an opportunity to meet with interesting companies and possible partners from around Europe.

Topics

An international panel of European companies will share their vision on alliances in medical technology. What do The Netherlands have to offer? Where lie the strengths of other countries? Apart from the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium -amongst others- will be represented during this multi-national dating show.

The panel presentation will be followed by 3-5 roundtable discussions in groups around a theme, e.g. (in vitro) Diagnostic Devices, Wound Care, Surgical instruments, Electro- medical devices & Imaging, Rehabilitation & Care, Disposables & Implants, and/or Minimal-invasive Surgery. Group discussions will provide opportunities to meet like-minded companies, to explore expertises, and to gain insight in the latest developments in medical technology. There will be 2 roundtable discussions  in a row so everyone can join in two themes.

Following the roundtable discussions, 1 to 1 partnering sessions are organized to continue conversations (in the trapfoyer). Please register on http://www.biobusinesspartnering.b2bmatchmaking.com to present your company in the online catalog and indicate what partners, products or technologies you are offering or seeking. Use the online catalog to indicate whom you want to contact and we’ll arrange an appointment scheme to explore the possibilities of cooperation.

Participation in this session will provide you insight in the latest developments in medical technology and gets you in contact with counterparties from all over Europe. Take the opportunity to enhance your visibility in Europe and have a view on new business opportunities.
