MATRIX Innovation Center opened their first incubator building in 1999: Matrix I. In 2009 MATRIX Innovation Center houses over ninety companies in five incubator buildings, of which one –the Biopartner Centre- also offers laboratory space. MATRIX Innovation Center provides services and housing to beta sciences and institutions present in Science Park Amsterdam. MATRIX Innovation Center plans to build MATRIX VI, also a building with office- and laboratory space, at Science Park in the near future.
