Healthcare offers good opportunities for medical technological innovations. Unfortunately, many clinical needs stay unmet. Pontes Medical acts on this challenge!

We develop and realise new solutions for diagnosis and treatment of patients. We created a generator for ideas and innovations, where specialists with different backgrounds come together in a creative setting to improve the field of healthcare. Pontes Medical is unique, where in a clinical setting -together with commercial partners who commit themselves to the projects- new products are being developed. We build these bridges and manage the projects to make sure that the innovations will actually see a commercial launch.

We constantly look for partners to bring ideas to the market. Together we can improve healthcare. The partners we are looking for are market players, entrepreneurs, investors, product developers and manufacturers.

Pontes Medical is a collaboration between AMC, VUmc and UMC Utrecht. The Ontwikkelingsmaatschappij Flevoland (OMFL) supports us with providing their network of entrepreneurs. The initiative is financially supported by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Municipality of Utrecht and the Province of Utrecht.
