BioBusiness Event 2009
In 2009 the BioBusiness Event took place on June 16th in Schouwburg Almere.
In this fourth edition, there were more possibilities for personal contact than ever before. Not only through the info-market, the heart of the BioBusiness Event, but also through the "Meet the Expert" consults, interactive Roundtable discussions and Match-making sessions organized by Immuno Valley and MTIC.
Also excellent speakers held a presentation, including Simon Sturge of OctoPlus and Dick Meijer of Genzyme.
Simultaneously to the plenary programme Round Table discussions were held. These sessions allowed biotech executives and entrepreneurs to discuss specific topics with an expert and colleagues in an informal, open and direct matter. Themes of the Roundtable discussions were IP Due Diligence, critical succes factors in strategic alliances, innovating successfully is a joint effort and Biotech cluster in Almere.
Also there were Meet the Expert consults. In this setting visitors had one-to-one meetings with experts in for example legal, financial, business development or intellectual property affairs. These consults are free of charge and will take 20 to 30 minutes.
