Amsterdam Biomed Cluster has the objective to build a dynamic community to exploit synergy between the life sciences organisations present in the Amsterdam region and to open up our regional knowledge- and technology base to those, national and international, parties interested in doing business with us. The Amsterdam BioMed Cluster has the ambition to turn the larger Amsterdam area into an internationally attractive and innovative bioregion.

In more concrete terms, this means that the Amsterdam BioMed Cluster aims:

1. to connect industry and knowledge, by bringing together entrepreneurs, scientists and related parties active in the life sciences
2. to support and represent the life sciences sector in the Amsterdam area
3. to promote the Amsterdam area (internationally) as preferred destination for life sciences activities
