Eric Claassen will be the chairman of BioBusiness Event 2010. Eric Claassen combines many functions all related to his main focus on research management, valorization and business development in Life Sciences with a special emphasis on immunology, microbiology, virology and vaccines. His entrepreneurship involves several Executive and Board positions in early stage Life Sciences companies, including Dynomics and AM Pharma. He co-founded ViroNovative, Coronovative and Viroclinics together with Prof Dr A. Osterhaus. In 2006 Eric was appointed 'Profession in 'Knowledge Valorisation in the Life Sciences' at Erasmus MC. In 2001 he was appointed as the first BioPartner professor in 'Entrepreneurship in the Life Sciences' at the Free University of Amsterdam. He is author of over 150 peer reviewed papers and several patents.
