Felix von Coerper, Director of Elana BV, will give a presentation on BioBusiness Event 2009. Elana is a Dutch, private owned company with the mission to improve quality of life for people with vascular diseases by maintaining a leading edge in bypass research and through the development of unique solutions for surgery.
Felix studied economics at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. In 1998 he was the founder of Area010, a business incubator for innovative start-ups. He became the general manager for four years. After this Felix participated in a trading company in gifts and premiums and was interim manager and consultant, mainly in the field of technology transfers and life sciences. Clients were Medical Centers, Development Corporations and Medical foundations. In 2004 he co-founded Elana bv, which is a medical device company located in Utrecht, The Netherlands. He is executive board member and director of Elana bv, and president of Elana inc. located in Maryland, USA.
