30-01-2006 - Chairman BioBusiness Event announced

Manfred Heinzer, the General Manager of Roche Nederland BV, has agreed to be the chairman of the BioBusiness Event 2006. After graduating in business & economics from the university of St. Gall in 1989, Manfred M. Heinzer, a Swiss national, started his career as Marketing Analyst with Glaxo Pharmaceuticals in the UK. After his position as Medical Sales Representative, Respiratory, and Product Manager, Gastroenterology, with Glaxo France he did his MBA at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France in 1993. Mr. Heinzer rejoined Glaxo and GlaxoWellcome respectively as Marketing Manager, Gastroenterology, at their Swiss affiliate before moving back to the UK as Commercial Strategy Manager, Respiratory, at their headquarters. In 1998 he joined Roche’s Swiss affiliate as Director Marketing, Pharma. Three years later he became Director Hospital/Specialty Care for Roche in Germany. Since August 2004, Manfred Heinzer is the General Manager of Roche Nederland BV.
