The CEO of AM-Pharma, Bart Wuurman, will be one of the speakers of BioBusiness Event. AM-Pharma is a biopharmaceutical company, based in The Netherlands, focused on development and commercialization of innovative therapeutics for human use.

Drs Bart Wuurman has 20 years of International Pharma and Biotech Industry experience, which includes working in the UK for 13 years.

During this time he gained a broad industry experience, ranging from drug discovery, product licensing and marketing and sales with Organon, Medeva, Antisoma and DeNovo Pharmaceuticals. At Antisoma he was responsible for a $500 million oncology alliance with Roche. In 2003 Bart became CEO of De Novo Pharmaceuticals in Cambridge. Two years ago he returned to The Netherlands to become CEO of AM-Pharma. Bart holds pharmaceutical sciences degrees from Dutch Universities in Utrecht and Leiden.
