Joost van Bree will be the chairman of BioBusiness Event 2007.

Van Bree is chief executive officer of Pepscan Systems, a company that develops medicines using small proteins.
Van Bree holds an M.Sc in pharmacy and a Ph.D. in pharmacology, both from Leiden University. He worked in various international industry positions in the fields of pharmaceutics, clinical pharmacology, drug development and regulatory affairs with Sandoz (now Novartis), Pharmachemie and lately Pharming, where he held the position of VP Clinical Development and Regulatory Affairs.
